Onchan Community Centre

The Community Centre is situated off School Road in the top corner of School Road Playing Fields.

It may be hired for a variety of purposes.

The sports hall has a timber floor marked out for:

• Badminton
• Five-a-side Football
• Archery

The Community Hall is used for meetings, children's parties, indoor car boot sales, flower shows etc. It adjoins the kitchen/coffee bar and the General Purpose Room.

The General Purpose Room is used for general meetings or an extension of the Community Hall for indoor car boot sales, parties, horticultural shows etc.

The games room contains a full size snooker table.

Externally there is a car park.

The premises have limited access and facilities for the disabled.

HIRE CHARGES FOR ONCHAN YOUTH & COMMUNITY CENTRE

EFFECTIVE FROM 1 st SEPTEMBER 2008

The sports hall is subject to the wearing of sports shoes – no outside shoes to be worn.

For non sporting events (concerts, meeting etc) a special carpet has to be laid.

The labour charge for laying the carpet Monday to Friday £56 and Saturday /Sunday £110
The carpet is hired out at £14 per session

CHILDRENS PARTIES

We have a special inclusive rate for children's parties which covers the Community Hall, General Purpose Room, Kitchen and Coffee Bar area. This ensures the hirer has sole use of the upper part of the Community Centre for a party.

• 4 Hour Hiring £45.00

CAR BOOT SALES

Sundays 11am to 3pm only (excludes Sports Hall and Games Room) £40.00
