ISLE OF MAN BANK DOES IT IN STYLE
Wed, 10th Nov 2004
Full marks to the Isle of Man Bank who have been carrying out repairs to their branch in Main Road, Onchan. The guttering to the 1934 building has been replaced for the first time in 70 years but not with plastic. Instead aluminium guttering preformed to the same shape as the ogee cast iron guttering has been used. Contractors are the Onchan builders J.T. Skillicorn Ltd who also carry out maintenance work on other branches of the bank. The Onchan Branch of the Isle of Man Bank lies within the Onchan Conservation Area.
