Property Maintenance Officer
An opportunity has arisen within the management team of this progressive authority for a suitably qualified person to take on this challenging role. The successful applicant will assist the Property Maintenance Manager in the implementation of works ensuring the Onchan District Commissioners property portfolio is maintained and repaired to a high standard within the funding available.
This post would suit applicants who are City & Guilds qualified, or who can demonstrate a good working knowledge of building construction and maintenance. Salary will be commensurate with the level of experience.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within the local government structure of the Isle of Man, and to build on an existing knowledge of building legislation and practice. The Authority is committed to long term development in all areas of public service, and is one of the few providing a Building Control function as part of its continued provision of cost effective services.
