Cath Cringle retired last Friday after 15 years with The Harvey Briggs Onchan Library service, and will be very much missed by her colleagues and library members. Her storytelling sessions were especially loved by children and adults alike, and have helped to inspire a new generation of readers. Readers will still see Cath in the library from time to time, and she will continue to join Onchan Book Group meetings too.
Anthony Allen, Chairman of Onchan District Commissioners, and Tim Craig, Deputy Clerk, marked the occasion with an informal presentation for Cath at the library to wish her a long and happy retirement.
