The Chairman and Commissioners of Onchan District Commissioners were saddened to hear of the passing of former Chairman of Onchan Village Commissioners, Mr Alan Lowther Moore. Mr Moore was involved in the Onchan Community for many years and will be missed by many.
On behalf of the Chairman, Members and staff of the Commissioners we wish to offer sincere condolences and sympathy to Alan's' family and friends.
The Board will recognise Alan's contribution to the community of Onchan at their next meeting on 5th March 2018, by holding a one minutes silence as a mark of respect.
The Funeral will take place at St Peter's Church, Onchan, on 23rd February 2018 at 2.00 p.m.
Mr Moore pictured at the opening of the refurbishment of the Onchan Hub (Youth and Community Centre) on 5th May 2017. Mr Moore was Chairman of Onchan Village Commissioners when the building was opened in 1981.
