Get Online Week - Keep In Touch

National Get Online Week runs from 2 – 8 October, and Harvey Briggs Onchan Library and Lloyds Digital Champions will be helping local residents to find out how to get more out of the Internet to Keep In Touch.

The Internet offers so many ways to Keep In Touch with family and friends, or for business. Whether you're interested in email, Skype, facebook, facetime or more, bring along your laptop, phone, ipad or tablet to the library on Wednesday 4th October anytime between 10.00 a.m. and 1 p.m. for some friendly help and advice. It's absolutely free, and you can either call the library on 621228 to book a slot, or just drop in. Teas and coffees will be served, and there will be free notepads and pens to jot down your notes!

The library also has helpful tips from Good Things Foundation about how to stay safe online whether you're shopping, managing your money or looking after your health. Call anytime throughout Get Online Week to pick up your copies, and find out more.
