The 2021 general local election process has commenced with the Department of Infrastructure determining the date for the general election, which has been set for Thursday 22nd July 2021.
The Department will publish the Notice of Election on 15th June 2021 on which date nomination papers will be available for interested parties. The nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer at the Commissioners Office by 5pm on 29th June 2021.
