Captain David Cowell

The Chair and Commissioners of Onchan District Commissioners were saddened to hear of the passing of the former Commissioner, Captain David Moore Cowell.   Captain Cowell was a valued member of the Onchan community for many years and will be missed by many.

 

On behalf of the Chair, Members and staff of the Commissioners we wish to offer sincere condolences and sympathy to David’s family and friends.

 

The Board will recognise David’s contribution to the community at their next meeting on 17th March 2025, by holding a one minute’s silence as a mark of respect.

 

The Funeral will take place at Onchan Methodist Church, on 28th March 2025 at 11.00 a.m. followed by private interment at Peel Cemetery.
