Onchan District Commissioners were pleased to host the presentation of the Crosh Pobble Chonnaghyn (Onchan Community Cross) on Friday 17th April 2026.
Awarded every two years, the Crosh Pobble Chonnaghyn recognises a resident who has made an outstanding contribution to the quality of life within the District through public spirited service.
This year, the trustees presented Keith Watterson with the award in recognition of his many years of voluntary service to groups and organisations across Onchan.
The award was presented by its creator Peter Karran, Captain of the Parish Peter Kelly M.B.E., and Chair of the Commissioners Anthony Allen, in the presence of Keith’s family, friends, colleagues, local Members of the House of Keys, and Commissioners.
