Onchan District Commissioners are pleased to announce that Cedar Developments Ltd have completed an external refurbishment programme which has given a new lease of life to the facades of 6 properties at First Avenue Onchan, which were built in 1937.
Works included re-roofing and the construction of new chimney stacks, replacement soffit facia and gutters, re-rendering with a dash finish, new boundary walls and paths, installation of new gates and handrails, replacement storm water drainage and new UPVC double glazed windows. The works undertaken have created better living conditions for tenants, by improving the water tight envelope of the building, leading to dryer homes and improved the streetscape of the area.
Cedar Developments Ltd handed over the completed homes on the 3rd of March 2022. Onchan District Commissioners and Cedar Developments would like to thank the residents in the area for their support during the project.
