Drain jetting and clearing works took place at The Rec to clean out the existing land drains to remove a build-up of debris.
As a result of the clearing works, some of the debris has been disturbed and is making its way through the surface water pipe system to the open water culvert at Port Jack Glen. This is causing discolouration to the water, but please note that this is only land drainage and is not connected with any foul sewer.
