The Eastern Civic Amenity site will reopen for from 31st March 2021.
They will only be accepting household burnable, garden waste and use of the recycling bring banks.
Currently no white goods (washing machines, tumble dryers, fridges, freezers) etc, no TVâs, no metal, and no building waste. The reuse sheds will remain closed until further notice.
Only one family member and one other adult to help as required will be permitted on site.
Social distancing and the wearing of face coverings must be adhered to. Users are asked to follow the signs, due to the introduction of the new public health safety measures, there are likely to be queues. Users are therefore asked to exercise patience and follow instructions from the operatives.
The Eastern District civic amenity site will be closed as usual on Good Friday, April 2 and will re-open on Saturday April 3.
The opening hours for Wednesday 31st March is 10am to 4pm (last entry 3.45pm), summer hours commence 1st April 2021.
Summer opening hours are 8am to 6pm â last entry 5.45pm â Monday to Saturday
Sundays and bank holidays 8am to 4pm â last entry 3.45pm.
