Onchan District commissioners organised a competition to design a poster which could encourage residents of the district to recycle.
After a difficult task in judging the many entries, the winners fo the competition are:
Ms B. de Legh-Runciman, Master H. Callin and Mrs M. Bendall.
The winners original artwork has been reproduced to create posters which have been fitted to the side of Onchan District Commissioners' Refuse Vehicles.
The prizes were sponsored by Tels Ltd (Skip Hire).
