AREA PLAN FOR THE EAST UPDATE

The Public Inquiry into the Draft Area Plan for the East was held between the 10th September and the 2nd of October 2019 in which an independent inspector was appointed to hold the inquiry. 

After reviewing all of the information the independent Inspector’s Report has been received and will be available to view online at 9am Friday 6th December.

What Happens Next?

The Planning Policy Team is currently assessing the recommendations and implications of the Inspector’s Report with a view to report back to the Department. The Department will then determine if any changes should be made to the Plan in light of the Inspector’s Report.
