Onchan District Commissioners are pleased to announce that Cedar Developments Ltd have completed an external social housing refurbishment programme which has given a new lease of life to facades of 12 properties at The Park Houses, Onchan, which were built in 1949. Completion of the project comes almost 12 months after Cedar Development Ltd began work to refurbish the 12 occupied properties. Works included re-roofing, re-pointing of brickwork, re-rendering, drainage repairs, replacement out house doors and new chimney stacks. The works undertaken have created better living conditions for tenants, by improving the water tight envelope of the building, leading to dryer homes and improved the streetscape of the area.
Cedar Developments Ltd handed over the completed homes on 24th June 2022. Onchan District Commissioners and Cedar Developments Ltd would like to thank the residents in the area for their support during the project.
