Never Stop Reading Challenge
The library challenged children to 'Never Stop Reading' this summer, and they responded through reading over 3,000 books! Local artist and library assistant Quinn Shipton created the beautiful art work for the Peter Pan themed event, which was supported by local investment business Old Mutual International.
There were fun activities for children to do, as well as a Lost Boys Hunt, Pirate Ship Colouring and A Neverland in a Box Competition. There was a Prize Presentation at the library recently with Clare Gerrard and Wendy Ranft-Gerber from Old Mutual International, and Chairman Robin Turton and Deputy Clerk Tim Craig from Onchan District Commissioners.
