Jubilee Sensory Garden

Barclays volunteers joined us once again to complete improvement and maintenance works to the  Jubilee Sensory Garden on 27th, 28th and 29th of June.

The Volunteers were very keen to improve the area so we developed the Coin path project, volunteers have laid over 5000 2ps into the ground depicting the Three Legs of Man in the middle. This now sits on the central link path in the garden creating a nice focal point and feature for people to enjoy.

As well as the laying the coins the volunteers also created a mural painting including sensory features, removed weeds, repaired and cleaned the fountain, cleaned paths and carried out painting to the area.

The thanks of Onchan District Commissioners are expressed for the continuing work being undertaken by the Barclays Bank Volunteers.

Please come along and enjoy this colourful and peaceful community sensory garden.
