The Harvey Briggs Onchan Library are acting as a Seed Collection Point for the Isle of Man Woodland Trust tree planting at Onchan Centenary Park.
There will be new woodland with nature trails, wildlife ponds, a wildflower meadow, and a memorial garden.
The Isle of Man Woodland Trust wants to involve local children in collecting seeds to grow into trees, and have created a nursery at Onchan Park. Bring the seeds you collect to the library, and then go on to plant them at the Nursery and later at the new woodland.
You can then follow the life of your tree through the years, and leave a lasting legacy for future generations.
