Onchan District Commissioners welcome their new tenants, the Nutty Chef to 10 Elm Tree Road and wish them well in their new business. Maxine Dalton-Baker has opened a new delicatessen and café in the premises which are part of Beech House in the center of Onchan.
The premises which have previously been a catering supplier and bookshop have been transformed to provide a modern, light and convenient facility which will be open six days a week.
The building provides good views down Royal Avenue and also across to the War Memorial and is a good position to view all the activity in the center of the village.
The refurbishment and letting of these premises is one of a number of developments in Onchan including the opening of a new fitness club and new tenants for the car showroom in Elm Tree Road.
Beech House is one of the properties owned by Onchan District Commissioners the return from which goes to offset the cost of community services.
