The Eastern Civic Amenity Site is located at Middle Farm Industrial Estate which is sign posted from Kewaigue Hill, Braddan.
The Eastern Civic Amenity Site Joint Committee that administers the Site is made up of representatives from the Local Authorities for Onchan, Douglas, Braddan, Garff and Santon.
The Site provides facilities for local residents of the partnering Authorities to deposit items of general domestic waste. The Site also provides a recycling service for a number of materials including lead acid batteries (e.g. car batteries), dry cell batteries (e.g. rechargeable or single use batteries), scrap metal, garden waste, cardboard, glass, cans, plastic bottles, paper and clothing.
Items such as fridges/freezers, televisions, computer monitors and fluorescent lamps are accepted for recycling, but charges for disposal apply.
Trade/Commercial waste will not be accepted at the Site.
