The Authority provides an on‑request additional domestic refuse service to Onchan residents. Charges apply based on the hire of either a larger capacity or additional bin.
🗑️ Domestic Bin Hire (Annual Costs)
The following prices are the current costs per annum for any service that is in excess of the standard 240 litre capacity wheelie bin ordinarily provided at each home:
Removal of a 240 litre capacity bin and replacement with a 360 litre capcatiy bin |
£72 |
Provision of an additional 240 litre capacity bin |
£144 |
Provision of an additional 360 litre capacity bin |
£216 |
The charge for the larger capacity or additional bin will be charged each April until the owner/occupier of the property requests for the service to cease.
